ECOWAS is the short form for Economic Community Of West African Countries and it consists of the fifteen West African countries namely:Benin, Burkina Faso, Cabo Verde, Cote d’Ivoire, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Togo.A lot of institutions are under ECOWAS and this includes the popular Ecobank. ECOWAS recruitment is normally done across the 15 member countries but in this post, It will be for those in Nigeria who wish to work with ECOWAS.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ECOWAS RECRUITMENT

Applicant must be a Graduate and must hold his certificate as at the time of applying.

Note for roles like drivers and cooks in ECOWAS, an ND certificate is okay.

Applicant must be fluent in speaking and writing English language

Some roles are language specific and they require you to know how to speak languages like French.

Some roles may require you to have specific years of experience.

Applicants who know how to use software’s related to their field of practice(eg AUTOCAD for someone in an engineering field) will have an added advantage.

ECOWAS SALARIES AND REMUNERATIONS

ECOWAS staffs are well paid including their drivers and cleaners who at times earn more than some civil servants in Federal Government Agencies in Nigeria so it is important not to miss the opportunity of working with ECOWAS.
